Elizabeth Rich

Elizabeth Rich is the assistant managing editor, opinion for °ÄÃÅÅܹ·ÂÛ̳ and edweek.org, overseeing all opinion content, both online and in print. She is the founding executive project editor of the annual Big Ideas special report. Elizabeth joined °ÄÃÅÅܹ·ÂÛ̳ Teacher in 2007 as an assistant editor and writer. Previously, she was an award-winning documentary filmmaker, public radio producer, and educator in public schools in the District of Columbia and a Tribal Even Start program in Oklahoma. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Barnard College and a master’s degree in cultural reporting and criticism from New York University.
