Karen Diegmueller

Karen Diegmueller has worked as a writer and editor for °ÄÃÅÅܹ·ÂÛ̳ for the past 30 years. During her tenure, she has written about the teaching profession, curriculum, state policy, and school sports. As an editor, she oversaw many of those areas as well as assessment and international coverage. Before joining °ÄÃÅÅܹ·ÂÛ̳, she wrote for daily newspapers and a weekly news magazine in Kentucky, Illinois, New Jersey, and Washington. She covered a wide range of issues, including education; national, state, and urban affairs; health; the environment; and police and courts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Cincinnati and an master’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
