Dr. Tatiana Ringenberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Â鶹¾«Æ·. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University through the Computing Innovations fellowship.
Dr. Ringenberg’s research lies at the intersection of social computing, human factors in cybercrime, and online safety. Her work examines the dynamics of digital interactions and their consequences for users. Her overall goal is to increase awareness and resilience against manipulation and exploitation online. Over the years, she has authored multiple research papers exploring exploitation tactics in digital environments, especially within the context of online child safety and online grooming risk.
Her current research interests focus on online vigilantism, social engineering, and online financial fraud.
