There’s a troubling disconnect between parents and schools over who should take ownership of how to handle the overuse of technology by kids, says clinical psychologist Lisa Strohman, who has dedicated her career to understanding the effects of technology overuse.

Here, she outlines why tech overuse has evolved into such a big problem, the impact it is having on children of all ages, and how schools and parents can work together to help kids develop a healthier relationship with technology.
