Tutoring has emerged as a popular academic recovery strategy to provide personalized and targeted support to students who have fallen behind.

Researchers Tyrone C. Howard and Thomas J. Kane, and elementary school principal Cristal Moore will join host Peter DeWitt to discuss what the evidence is telling us about the promises and the practicalities of tutoring.

You’ll leave with insights into the following questions:

  • How are educators using this learning recovery strategy as they help students emerge from pandemic learning?
  • What have we learned so far about tutoring?
  • What are the biggest challenges and how can they be overcome?
  • What are the success stories?
