We are reopening the K-12 measurement and accountability discussion for a final discussion the week of June 2. The latest contributions will look at the promises, challenges, and the state of the art today of ‘instructionally useful’ test design from the perspectives of two education experts: W. James Popham, Emeritus Professor in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and David C. Berliner, former president of AERA and Regents’ Professor of Education Emeritus at Arizona State University.
