Polytechnic provided me with hands-on experience and diverse knowledge of other concentrations like electrical, materials, and automation engineering. Being well-rounded and knowing how to apply my knowledge greatly helped me become qualified for my job.

The manufacturing engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products; tests tools and equipment and/or plans the manufacturing processes in a designated area of the manufacturing plant.

I will work in the Weapons System Engineering Division as a mechanical design resource for the group. I will work on a team with weapons engineers and designers to ensure that released product design definition meets both performance and standards requirements.
