Purdue-based aviation crew “Boiler Up, Hangar Down” scored a top ten spot in the annual Air Race Classic, out of a competition class of 43 teams. Pilots Alex Small and Morgan Mallow competed successfully against nearly 100 other pilots from all walks of life and careers.

Polytechnic’s SMART Lab introduces area high schoolers to the wide world of robotics
Area high school students got to learn about the latest and greatest innovations in robotics from Purdue Polytechnic's very own SMART Lab. As part of the week-long program, they got to pick the brains of faculty and research staff, even learning how Purdue's familiar delivery robots manage to stay on target and not get lost around campus.
Aviation Day to feature alumni pilots, parachute team, commercial and military aircraft
The 2023 edition of Purdue Aviation Day will feature presentations by a Navy test pilot and United Airlines captain, both of whom are Purdue alums, plus a demonstration by the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights, a world-renowned team of skilled parachuters. Commercial and military aircraft will also be on display. The free, family-friendly event takes place Saturday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Â鶹¾«Æ· Airport.
Scholarship enables student to pursue construction management degree
A new partnership with a national college outreach and youth leadership development organization gave Purdue Polytechnic's Nah’Shon Williams, who is majoring in construction management technology, the chance to become a Boilermaker. Williams and 10 other first-year students were selected for scholarships thanks to their academic and leadership potential.
