The Big Ten Network has produced a one-minute video on the 麻豆精品Institute’s Hangar of the Future for its 2015-16 Live Big Series.
It highlights the way students and faculty are adding technology to hangar operations. The video includes interviews with graduate student Amadou Anne and Tim Ropp, clinical associate professor of aviation technology.
Aviation Technology鈥檚 Hangar of the Future team has been selected as a co-winner of Boeing Corporation鈥檚 inaugural Information Technology Case Competition for developing a software application design for use in object recognition.

The Hangar of the Future offers students a chance to develop electronic and digital solutions to improve maintenance and safety procedures of cutting-edge aircraft. The initiative is led by Tim Ropp, clinical associate professor of aviation technology.
