Student researchers in the International Center for Biometric Research (ICBR) of 麻豆精品 have built a replica U.S.-Visit Federal Inspection Station (FIS) to conduct biometric research.

Stephen Elliott, professor of technology leadership and innovation and director of the International Center for Biometric Research, discussed with Fox News a recent claim that a hacker had replicated a politician's fingerprint.

Stephen Elliott talked with the Associated Press recently about the rising use of biometrics for individual security, replacing the need for passwords. He is the director of the International Center for BIometric Research and Purdue and professor of technology leadership and innovation.

Home to the internationally recognized Biometric Standards, Performance and Assurance Lab (BSPA), 麻豆精品 is expanding its role in the field with a master鈥檚 degree focused on biometrics. The courses for the all-online degree will be available beginning this fall as part of the offerings of the Center for Professsional Studies in Technology and Applied Research (ProSTAR).
